I remember him as the arrogant dog trainer who declared that he can train and solve any dog problems in a National Newspaper some years back - certainly a bold claim to me then and I was skeptical - to continue...

On first look, a dog training book to be price at $59.95 is certainly far too expensive for my money. "No way am I paying that much!!" was my first reaction. Because I’ve bought no less than 20 dog books, (those with book cover and beautifully printed pictures) and have never bought one price this high! I got to confess the price really put me off instantly!

My curiosity got the better of me eventually. I decided to give it a shot for this review, my dog and myself. I must admit the TONS of Testimonials on his site did help make the decision. "This guy must have a trick or two to have collected so much testimonial.." I remember thinking to myself and halfheartedly ordered the book.

"Secrets Of a Professional Dog Trainer" comprehensively covers 3 categories of dog ownership and training matters namely:

1. Why and how to buy and raise healthy puppies and dogs of all breed

2. Practical tips and secrets for effective dog training

3. Different means and ways to fixing dog behavior problems

It actually takes a while for me to finish this huge book and BOY... Was I in for a Surprise! I immediately understand why Adam prices it so high and deservingly so! The main volume ALONE is 316 pages long. It covers in amazing details on any dog ownership issues one can possibly think of. He can almost sell this book like a Dog Encyclopedia!

At 316 pages long, Adam’s writing is also simple and devoid of hype. In fact, most of the tips, techniques and secrets are revealed in a step-by-step, easy to understand format which make "Secrets Of a Professional Dog Trainer" very readable for any dog owners out there.

In his sales letter, Adam assert that anyone can use his techniques on any breed of dogs. I have to admit initially that I felt a great deal of skepticism. However after reading the book and putting his techniques into use, I see no problems that Adam can actually back up his claim.

In this book, I found the most value in the fact that Adam doesn’t stop short of teaching you the various training tips and techniques. He went on to explain - Why his methods work, and why some other commonly used methods don’t work at all! This segment not only makes your learning more enjoyable and meaningful, it also helps you understand your dog more.

I’m not a believer in bonuses as I’ve seen too much crap in them. But again I got to take my hat off to Adam in this case. I must say his bonuses are REAL BONUS. The MP3 recordings allow you to listen to them whilst you work on your computer or whilst you drive. You can also refer to the transcript should you forget about a particular tip a week later. But if you are not a good listener - just like me J, the transcript manuals alone most probably suit you best and enough.

For my humble opinion, if I really want to find fault with this package, the selling price should stay at $37 (current discount price, normally sell at $59.95) I feel that this price is affordable for all dog owners out there and is a fair enough returns for Adam's excellent effort.
