For your information, young puppies cannot control their bladder for long periods of time until they are at least 6 months old (may varied from breeds). A puppy compare to a dog will need to relieve itself about every 25-35 minutes (increases as puppy grow) or immediately after eating, playing, waking up, excitement and confinement.

Listed below are some of the important things to look out for to aid you in house potty training your new dog:

Visual Cues
Learn how to spot visual cues as to when your puppy needs to relieve. In most cases, the puppy will start to run in circles and sniff around the floor. Grab her quick and bring her to where you want her to relieve – outside or inside (paper training).

Outdoor / Paper Training
As your dog begins to relieve herself, you should teach her a command or words that you have chosen to associate with toileting, for example, “go potty” or “do it now”. Use the command consistently when your dog is relieving, and in time she will learn to associate this command with toileting. (You can use a larger size paper when you start training and reduce its size over time)

Give Praise
After your dog has finished her business, give praise and reward immediately. Allow your dog to know that she has please you by relieving in the correct place.

Accidents Will Happen
When you caught your dog relieving in the house, let her know that she has make a mistake by saying negative words like “bad girl”, or “nope”.

If you didn’t catch your dog in the act, please take a deep breath and let the matter rest. Because it’s useful to punish your dog after the act as delayed punishment is beyond your dog’s comprehension.
