Dog Crate Bed - Use It To Potty Train Your New Pup

It is very easy to train dogs to sleep in dog crate beds and in fact, this seems to be the best way to potty train a new puppy. However, you need to be aware that your pup also needs your praise or acknowledgement especially when it has been good and obedient.

Your frequent absence from home may not allow you to keep a watchful eye over your new pet and so the introduction of a dog crate bed may come in very handy and appropriate for you. While you potty train your pup, the pet also needs to be constantly made aware of when and the exact spot it should carry out its nature call. If you do not provide consistent training to your new puppy, it will never be able to learn.

One way of training your new pet is to get it used to sleeping in a dog crate bed. In this way, you are training your puppy to perform its best behavior and obedience accordingly to your expectation. As soon as a regular routine has been set up, you will have a final peace of mind when your instructions have been followed and carried out well by your new pet.

Successful Puppy Potty Training
After your new puppy gets acquainted to its dog crate bed, you should start to teach your pup how to relieve itself out from the bed and not inside the bed. The new pup must be encouraged to have its potty time frequently. The best is to try to get the puppy to relieve itself for every three hours or so until it gets accustomed to its more comfortable potty timetable.

The procedure of potty train is basically very simple – just bring your puppy out for a walk, then allows it to have its own private time for relieving and after which you walk the pup back to its dog crate bed. You should be able to get a feel of your puppy’s potty timetable after a short period of time and use it to coincide with your own daily schedule. And now that the puppy has gotten used to the dog crate bed, it will regard the bed as its own comfort zone and go back to the bed for a sweet dream after it has done its potty elsewhere.

A Potty Trained Puppy
You should be able to complete your potty train with your puppy in just two weeks’ time if you carry out your supervision consistently and regularly. Constant potty trainings are attainable with any type of dog, no matter how old or young is the pet. And even you may have picked up a dog from a dog shelter, you can also instill potty training into the dog’s head. Whether we are discussing about a grown-up dog or an adult, it does not necessarily mean the dog or the person is fully aware of all the house rules.

To ensure that potty train works well for your new pet, you must possess a certain degree of patience. But bear in mind : the younger the pups are, the lesser self-control they have over their relieving habits and so you need not have to apply your rigorous training on these young and ignorant puppies.

Be generous to your pup and give it a treat whenever it is at its best behavior. Who knows? Your pup will be so ‘moved’ by your generosity and caring that it will even potty-trained itself diligently. Potty training is not a torturous affair; if you can just relax and be patient, you will perhaps find it an enjoyable task to do it with your puppy.
